Loutraki, The City of Waters
Loutraki, the seat of the Municipality, is at a distance of 4 kilometres from the Isthmus Canal, while it is only 80 kilometres away from Athens and 120 kilometres away from Patras. By road, it is linked with Athens via the New National Road of Athens-Corinth, with Patras and western Peloponnese via the National Road of Corinth-Patras, with Tripoli and generally with southern Peloponnese, via the New National Road of Corinth-Tripoli.
Loutraki has the privilege to be located in a strategic geographical position (a transport, commercial nerve center, a connecting point between the Athens and Peloponessus), along in relation with the most important archeological destinations of them. It is built on the foot of the mountain Gerania and has a 2 Km beach.
Loutraki is situated north of the Corinthian gulf. It is a tourist resort and a curative station with its famous hot springs and the natural mineral waters. Symbol of the most wonderful contrasts, it provides illimitable possibilities for winter and summer tourism. A rare natural ambient with the sea to constrain the mountain in climatic conditions that is difficult to find. Next to the springs begin the marvellous dance of the waterfalls.
